Ballawyllin Farm, East Baldwin, Isle of Man, IM4 5ER

We are blessed with an abundance of wildlife, including pheasants, woodcock, housemartins and many other local bird species, rabbits, hedgehogs, and (in summer months) a maternity colony of common pipistrelle bats between the tiles of the roof of the main house.  We also have many species of wildflowers and trees on the property.  We also have a cat, Tiger, and a free-ranging flock of ten assorted chickens who provide eggs for us and for guests. We have a hive of Manx honeybees who produce honey for our breakfasts when available (as we leave most of the honey for the bees to overwinter on, rather than replacing it with sugar solution).  The hive is well away from public areas.
